8 Jan: TCV Business Section today inaugurated its new business ventures including "A Coffee House" and the "Village Tours & Travels" in addition to its earlier Boutique Shops, located right above the TCV Day School, Dolma Chowk, Mcleod Ganj. The inauguration ceremony was blessed by a group of monks from Gyutoe Monastery with their prayers and Mr. Lekshey Tenpa la, TCV Head Office as the Chief guest.

The much awaited Business venture is spearheaded by Mrs. Tenzin Dadon, Manager of TCV Business Section and her team with the great support from TCV Head Office. Mrs. Dadon and her team along with the several other heads and staff of TCV as well as people from other walks of life were present during the inaugural ceremony.

After the offerings and prayers, Gen Lekshey la graced the occassion by cutting the ribbon and officially openned the Village Tours and Travels as well as the Coffee House. The coffee, tea, cakes and snacks were served for the guests present during the day. At the same time, the Manager introduced all its new staff before the management and this was followed by brief address by Chief guest. In his speech, he stressed so much on the importance of being a good person, to provide a better service to its customers and try to maintain good reputation of TCV and be its goodwill ambassador. He further emphasised on keeping alive the flame of Tibetanism specially when dealing with wide variety of customers-locals, people from other states as well as foreigners!
