TCV Alumni received Best Central Administrative Staff Award 2007

Mr. Ugen Tsering Chaksampa, 1980 Class X Batch from TCV Dharamsala and Mr. Tashi Norbu 1994 Class X batch from TCV Bylakuppe were selected for the "Best Staff-Central Tibetan Administration, Tibetan Government in Exile" for the year 2007. The award carries an appreciation Certificate and cash prize of Rs.10,000/- each which was presented during the official ceremony of His Holiness Dalai Lama's 72nd birth anniversary at Tsuglak-khang by Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, the Prime Minister of Tibetan Government in Exile.


Mr. Ugen Chaksampa is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Finance, CTA. He graduated from Punjab University, Chandigarh and did his PHD in Public Administration from Syracuse University, USA.


Mr. Tashi Norbu is presently serving as the Office Secretary to Tibetan Welfare Officer, Tenzin Ghang, Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh. He had his Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Christ College, Kerala and Master's Degree from Delhi University in 2001.
