Inter-TCV Schools Essay Competition in Himachal State
His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama was awarded with the U.S Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian award at the U.S Capitol Rotunda on 17 October 2007. To mark this great accomplishment, the House of Peace and Dialogue organized an Inter-TCV Schools Essay Competition in Himachal State. The main aim and objective of this competition is to inculcate and inspire the younger generation especially the students on issue of local, national as well as global Peace, Justice and Harmony.
The House of Peace and Dialogue endeavors to provide space and opportunity for young students in learning the critical issues of our age-promoting peace and non-violence, cultural and environment awareness, mutual understanding and tolerance, conflict resolution, local and global responsibility, etc.
